Hey, I'm Axexis and I'm talking about The Far Cry2 map making and multiplayer system.

The Far Cry2 multiplayer system is great if your looking for fun. I find that it isn't fair that some of YOUR maps aren't being played, or aren't being downloaded. Myself as a map maker has found that my maps aren't being download played either. Doesn't make you mad that you spend hours/days on making maps that you think are incredible and people just aren't aware of them? And just to piss you off even more is that all the poorly made maps are at the top of the list to download. This is complete B.S. Those levels are only there because the people that made those levels are the higher ranked players. You heres what you should do:

1: Become known to the people who play that game, search for the "best" players and look for them when you use the "Custom Search" that way when you play on they're team, reveive tham alot, or help them out if they have the diamond or if they are capturing a control point.

2: Host you own matches and invite EVERYONE in the "Players Met" list and on your friends list. (make sure those lists are recent, and plentyful)

3: Make sure you "Snap Shots" for you maps are excelent and fun looking. That is vital to people liking you map.

4: Have alot of friends! Make sure that the majority of them are for Far Cry2 online playing. (Make a Far Cry2 account possibly)

and 5: Let people know that you have made a map. As a comment, maybe put: "Ask Me About My New Maps" or something a little more catchy. Or you can send a message to friends saying that you have created a map.


Here's what I have found by playing Far Cry2 multiplayer,

Pros:
1: Fun gameplay and graphics.
2: Making levels is cool (I've explained that)

Cons:

1: Lose diamonds after player matches? B.S.
2: Can't use your custom made maps in ranked games (For what reason? Because the person that made that map will have an advantage?)
3: Your maps rarely ever get downloaded or played.

If you download my maps, I will download yours, I never play ranked matches and usually play Uprising and Capture the diamond.
