That my friend is NOT an exaggeration...
The Good:
Great Story; If you look at it from outside, it tells a solid story about survival from wilderness and corruption which is good itself. But if you look deep in to it, it tells a much more complex and very mysterious plot that makes you think back about many little details. Either way player looks at it, it's clever and interesting storyline.
Interesting Characters; Of cause I'm talking about Vaas here.
Amazing atmosphere and very lively environment; it's an exotic and vast island comprising many iconic locations such as wild jungles, open fields, waterfalls, and lakes where you can go underwater to find many interesting things. It is filled with many creatures ranging from deer to bears and sharks to komodo dragons. And no small part of thanks to Dunia Engine 2 which gives the breath of life to create such magnificent open world and its creatures. The end result is a beautiful paradise with danger lurking in every corner
Gives a Very good experience of surviving the jungle; The game really gives the effect of how you have to steadily develop from being a lone survivor to a warrior in the journey through wild. Starting off from a hand gun and machete in an island taken over by ruthless pirates and predators, player has to collect plants to create medicine, hunt for animals skins to create pouches to carry more weapons and ammo, unlock new weapons by turning on radio towers and liberate the island one enemy outpost at a time.
Variety of Customizable weapons; There are many weapons, each having its own set of attachments and paint jobs ranging from primary weapons such as Assault rifles, SMG and shotguns to much more devastating weapons like flamethrowers, grenade launchers and rocket launchers and more silent ones like Recurve Bows and of cause my personal choice; Sniper Rifles with a silencer.
Stealth takeover moves; The game doesn't has much of a hand-to-hand combat system but it does has some very nice stealth moves to take down enemies from behind, above or below.
Lots of Enjoyable side activities; The island is filled with many things to do such as unlocking radio towers, taking over enemy outposts, killing most wanted pirates, hunting animals and each of these has its own rewards that the player will need to follow the path of the warrior.
Ability to drive array of land and water vehicles. (And also glider and wingsuit which are really cool)
Main theme; Other soundtracks are pretty good and suits to each moment but it's main theme that is one of the most memorable parts of the game.
The Bad:
This one certain story point really bugged me. Can't really say without spoiling it.
Conclusion:
Simply put, it's an outstanding game that rank WAY above any other FPS game because of its great story, amazing and energetic open world, and diverse and progressive gameplay. It is very highly enjoyable and highly recommended.
