Far Cry 4 is an overall great game set with Indian overtones in the Kyrati setting. The mountainous kingdom of Kyrat is very beautiful & the lakes, mountains, caves, temples & lands of Kyrat have a glorious appeal. However Far Cry 4 needs to overcome its' obsession with dictators and try something fresh now. As main character of the game, Ajay Ghale you come to Kyrat to scatter the ashes of your mother & then you indulge in the war between Pagan Min (Dictator) and the Golden Army (rebels seeking to over throw him).
Nothing exceptional about the story line and its the same as before in terms of liberating outposts, climbing radio towers and lots of side missions which can get boring quickly. Fortresses are added in the game which can be liberated too. They are basically outposts with much stronger defenses . Far Cry 4 is packed with a lot of wild animals and they are really aggressive this time. Even the AI is a little more powerful than previous game. Far Cry 4 has its moments when you ride an elephant and trample everything standing in your path & liberate outposts. Its always fun to just go around crashing stuff with an elephant.
Riding the Gyrocopter is also great to kill the long travel distances and makes for fun and inventive ways to kill enemies. Auto drive mode is also introduced in this game to deal with the massive traversing of map. Buzzsaw is one of the strongest weapons in all games probably. its overly powerful and once in later game as you get it, the game gets insanely easier. The story in the game is forgettable but like Far Cry 3, once you are in you can immerse yourself to the fun and mayhem in a beautiful picturesque setting. Its not ground breaking, but it is still very enjoyable.
