Far Cry: Instincts clearly distiguishes itself from its PC counterpart...WIth the addtion of feral hormones and animal
The story mode is solid with stellar actors and smooth cinematics. The game runs linear but gives the player the freedom to attack from many different ways including my favorite of crawling beneath a hut and shooting through the floor boards. The sound is clearly still the high point of Far Cry and makes the game that much more enjoyable. The graphics are as good as the xbox has to offer.
The multiplayer in Far Cry: Instincts is put together very, very well. The map editor can be put among the best I have ever used. The maps and game modes seem fresh and original compared to most others. The only down side, and I know others are sick of hearing this, is that the gameplay on xbox live cannot compare to Halo 2 as nothing seems to be able to in the FPS console realm. Interface is good but seems clunky in comparison. It pains me to say this since I am an Ubisoft fanatic. But it is true.
