Farcry for the pc was released more than a year ago and people loved it for it's, excellent story, great graphics, good weapons and its breathtaking tropical theme. Farcry for the xbox improves on it's pc cousin by offering a deeper and more engaging story, far better multiplayer, a map editor and the greatest feature of all, predator abilities! The story of farcry instincts is very similar to that of the pc version hpwever it has been tweaked more and some things added for examle jack carver adapting and becoming a predator which doesnt happen in the pc version. Anyway the story starts when jacks identitie is discovered and his boat is blown up. Jack spend's the rest of the game stuck on a beatiful tropical island that ironically act's as his prison being hunted by ruthless mercenairies and in turn you hunting them back. The multiplayer is awesome with new game modes such as predator and 16 players online. The map editor is awesome but could do with a few improvements. However what this game lacks is difficulty options as its too easy in the beginning and too hard in the end!

the gameplay is good but it has it's dull moments and the enemie A.I isn't the best ive seen.The graphics are excellent, one of the best on xbox if not the best, the lighting the water the character models the textures they are all gorgeous! An example is the cliiff levels where you could see the sunlight glinting of the wet grass very realistically and water below looks very real! The sound is great from mercenaries yelling to choppers flying above to the rushing of water it's all pleasing to the ear!
The value in this game is its strong point again the map editor gives you infinte maps, the campaign is highly replayable and the xbox live mode will keep you playing for months on end!
Overall a very good game take some money from your 360 fund because this is worth it!
