One of the better FPS for the XBOX, but not the BEST...

Before I bought this game, all I heard about it was that the graphics are amazing, the campaign is incredible, and that it's quite possibly the best shooter for XBOX. My opinion differs greatly from the reviews that I read. To start, the graphics are really not that great. I have seen much better graphics in other XBOX shooters. I actually thought the graphics could have been much better than they were. Second of all, the campaign for this game was really not all that. It was really repetitious, all the enemies pretty much acted the same, and the ending was extremely anti-climatic. In fact, I was getting really frustrated with the final boss, so I gave in and looked it up on a walk-through. As it turns out, there is a bug in the game that effects how you beat the final boss. I recommend reading the walk-though when you get to the final boss. This will save you from a lot of unnecessary frustration. The multi-player for this game is excellent. The map-making feature is extremely addictive and the fact that you can swap maps on-line is a great feature. It's expected that a lot of the maps that you will obtain on-line will be poorly made, but there are some people who are really good at it. Some of the maps that I have downloaded are really done well.

Although this game is not perfect, I do feel as though it is one of the best shooters for the XBOX. The multi-player and map-making capabilities are the game's saving grace. If you have XBOX LIVE, I would pick this shooter up. If you're just planning on playing the campaign, I wouldn't waste my time.
