Far Cry: Instincts has recieved rave reviews from all of the major web sites and magazines, but once the game is played you start to wonder what aspect of the game is deserving of all of this high praise (besides the graphics, of course). The stealth in this game feels underdone and I found myself wondering if I was well hidden or not given the absence of any type of visibility meter (such as in Splinter Cell). The weapons are fun to use, but the run and gun gameplay gets old after a few hours.
