One of the best FPS's.
The first thing you'll probably notice are the graphics. They're great. Look at the water effects. 1 word: WOW. The explosions are pretty ugly, but everything else looks great.
This game is long. The campaign won't be completed in just a few sessions, and the replay value is huge due to the open and large maps.
The difficulty is absolutely right. Some parts are pretty tough (for example, the rocket-shooting big mutants) but there's only 1 part in this game where i got stuck for a couple of days (Archive level) but that's only cause i didn't know where to go.
Driving. The outside areas are so big in this game that there are some cars and boats in them. They are fun to drive.
This game is gory!!! (if you put graphic settings to high) There are lots of blood and bullet holes in your enemies' corpses!!! Hahaa, fun. Plus ragdoll physics just make it even more brutal.
The enemies yell stupid things at you and the mutans, and some of those things are just SO stupid, they are absolutely hilarious. Here are some examples: "Suck this!" "I'm gonna shoot you in the face!"
Also, the player's character, Jack Carver, is AWESOME. His negative comments give a few laughs. Here's an example :
-You do know how to use a glider, Jack?
-No, but i learn real fast when people are shooting at me!
So, after playing this game for the first time, i was interested. I thought it was a great game. But, now, after playing it a lot more, i understood why i love this game SO much. Everything is great in it, i got absolutely nothing to complain about. This game is a masterpiece, even better than Counter-Strike (the best ONLINE-shooter of all time).
