ok yeah, I could go on and talk about the original story where you play as Jack Carver and enter the weird and wonderful island which is used to experiment on humans turning them into super freaks (you being one), giving you special abilities to accompany the ones you already had allowing you to set traps, take hostage any vehicle you see or even stealth through parts. But one thing I emphasise in this review which would have to be the multi-player, it's fantastic, I just love the fact you can create a map from scratch (beautifully done) and then publish it on-line with the modes of your choice to play against other gamers or friends. You can even download other players maps, I think this sets far cry apart from most standard FPS's on the box let alone a lot of other games on other formats. I've spent countless hours downloading other players maps and just exploring, people even make adventure course maps where you must reach the top to win. Also there are plenty of game modes, one being predator where one to five players play as a predator, a superhuman freak trying to kill the humans (one to sixteen) have to activate an alarm which can kill the predators if held down long enough. Just simple things like this really bring the multi player alive. Not to mention the story mode alone which is very entertaining and longer than most games. Far cry truly is the top predator (yeah I know, I'm being cheesy)
