I liked really like Far Cry up until the chick showed up.

Far Cry starts out as a unique and challenging game, that offers players a nice assortment of accurate weapons and beautiful landscapes to battle the enemy. The graphics are very good, you get an opportunity to do many things like, drive armored Humvee's, drive a boat, use a hang glider... The weapon assortment is nice too, one of my favorite weapons is the sniper rifle, which has amazing range and crystal clear site distance.

Halfway through the game the woman you're looking for finally shows up. She's pretty cute actually...but this is where the game begins to take the wrong turn.

DNA enhanced creatures begin to show up. At first they are not so bad, they're easy to kill and there are not too many of them. As the game progresses however, they get meaner, tougher and more intelligent. The game looses it's creative edge and becomes boring and annoying. At times there are so many creatures that you're racing from one second in the game to the next, just to stay alive. It's not that I'm against a challenge, the game becomes unrealistic. There is no chance to enjoy it any more, it becomes survival.

During the first half of the game, you're running from bullets and rockets and getting killed just the same, but it was fun death, a death worth dying for. The second half is dull; there are going to be 40 monsters every two minutes and you're going to die 20 times. You can't run from them, you can't hide...enough said.

I played the game until the end, but uninstalled it and gave the game away.
