The game that put flash on the map. Everyone was playing this. As a male and hardcore gamer, I thought it would be lame but once cute girls on facebook got their hands on this, I couldn't resist. I started playing and instantly I was easily spending countless hours checking in every 5 minutes to stay ahead of my friends. In the very beginning the concept of spending money on the game wasn't as much of a necessity and i was constantly trying to stay one step ahead of everyone else on my fb. It did eventually die, but it will forever stand in my mind as being the most played flash game, and possibly the most played game of all time. I logged in recently to see that most of my favorite features were removed and it became so monetized, it wasn't even fun to plant a few things and check back. A shame what greed can do to a good game (cough, call of duty).
