It's a blast while it lasts.
The game presents itself very well, with some good tunes that fit the scenery, and although the graphics aren't as great as the PS3 version, the visuals are still good enough for you to get the feel of the game. The controls adapt remarkably well to the PSP, working extremely well and not feeling awkward at all. The simplicity of the game helps of course, but isn't it better to have brilliant controls than horrible ones?
The story mode can be finished quite quickly, however uses most of the game modes and adds twists to them, making it fun to play through them again. Alteratively, you can mess about and create your own match against the AI, or you can go online and play with others, which is of course more fun. Either way, the more your play the game, the more features you unlock for customising your own character, which is also quite fun, with the many different options to choose from.
While the story can be finished in just a few hours, you will certainly continue playing, probably to unlock more customisation features, and even when you have done that, you'll want to play online and compete against others, and even when that is done, and you've got bored of the game, you'll find that it's a real blast while it lasts.
