Providing plenty of chills and intensity, F.E.A.R 2 manages to not only make itself, but the entire series, a must play.

I think at least everyone who has a straight head on their shoulders and keeps themselves regularly updated with gaming websites has heard of you. And I must say you are quite the fun time. You always give the audience exactly what they come for....always. Blood and scares. Is there really any more you need to give us? I highly doubt it. Because....well your first entry into the gaming universe was fun, fast, and fresh. It gave us all a good taste of what a good scary game feels like. With your chilly atmosphere, and horrific deaths surrounding us at any given moment. And many have come to adore you for just that reason. Sure, you had plenty of flaws. Your load times were long, you had some of the dumbest in game ads ever, and you were sometime "clunky". But you know what, those flaws aside, you were great. You did a great job with giving us what we needed until the next big game came along.
And now your back.........
With your next entry, you once again give us what we come for: blood and scares. Only this time, you've turned up the blood meter to about 2.4765 times the blood in your first entry. Anywhere from the streets to the schools seems to be laced with it one place or another. And boy does that blood look great.......not be like a serial killer or anything.......I mean, your graphics are so much more clearer and crisper...its fantastic. You've obviously been hard at work improving yourself. Though, maybe a couple more weeks at the gym may have been a good idea? I mean, don't get me wrong, you are one fun game....I just.....feel like some things could have been changed you forgot about. Your load times can still be long, and you can also be clunky again. I mean, you are much more open and bigger than before...and I love that about you. But, i don't know, there was just some off moments in places. But hey, we all miss things about ourselves. If you needed to wait on those changes, then be my guest. Because.....F.E.A.R 2......you are awesome. Your just plain fun. From shooting, to just going places, and especially those creepy pieces you give us again, you give us exactly what we needed from a sequel. Flaws changed and more fun. I feel so right with you....being in my collection of must have games. You bring out the best in your series, and for that I thank you. You are a much better you now, and I think you should stay that way. Because, not only does it make me happy being a better you; but I also think it makes you happy. You probably feel more at home now, more like you...and seeing that about you.....it makes us all proud. You've got small flaws, but so do I. And well, our flaws go great together. Thank you F.E.A.R 2, you are one of those games that brings out the best in us.

Graphics:
An improvement over its predecessor in every way. Thanks to a much needed update, the series has never looked better.
Gameplay:
Just plain fun. From shooting, to slow-mo, to creepy elements, you give us a great feeling of satisfaction. A superb deal of awesome packed into every bullet fired and every step taken.
Sound:
Chilling music, some actiony in the right places. Good overall
Story:
Taking us deeper into the world of Alma. Better than the original's, with a creepy ending to boot.
Replay Value:
High. Come on, who wouldn't want to play you again?
Final Verdict:
F.E.A.R 2 isn't perfect. It's not Game of the Year and I doubt it'll be the most talked about game anytime soon. But it does deserve the praise I'm giving it. It does a fantastic job overall; even with flaws in mind. My only problem now is my worry of if I will write an even better review for games I love more than F.E.A.R 2. I mean, geez, I didn't even realize how much of this stuff should be in my most favorite game review until I was already finished. Ahh, it'll all be okay. Since I absolutely loved those games, I'm sure I'll come up with something.
Oh yea.....F.E.A.R 2?....Yea....it's a must have.
