A good FPS in its own right but.......

Fear if I had to review fear2 as a stand alone game then it would be a great fps with some nice suspense and action, very slick graphics and plenty of weapons to pick and play with but..

looking back at the original, fear apart from the the graphics tweak and slightly more slicker appearance fear 1 deffinatly had more grit to it and was a richer game for me at least.

Firstly, I felt the story of the first game had more grit to it & you felt more immersed.
then theres was the little things that where in the first game like the many things that you interacted with like the tape recordings that pushed they story along that where absent from the second game. (apart from the odd data disc).
I felt the inability to save was a let down as well,

the AI was as good as the first but I felt the maps hindered them some times

putting the above aside the game its self was a decent FPS with a nice selection of guns even with its faults :)
