F.E.A.R. 3

A solid shooter, but not so much.. FEAR in it.

I never really liked the sequel of FEAR. I always thought the first game was the best in terms of story, innovation, etc. This one is better than the 2nd game but not better than the first in my opinion.

I believe this game is difficult to judge. The shooting portion of the game is great. But the weapons are too generic.

The fights are intense and always full of fun (and explosions), but it lacks many elements of the first game (for example you cannot shoot someone who is standing behind a wooden wall).

The graphics are really nice, but sometimes a little bland and generic.
The story is okay. But the game it is not scary. It tries sometimes to be, but in general it doesn't feel like a FEAR game. Also i have the feeling the story has many similarities with the Half Life 2 universe.

Bottom line is this: A really good shooter, but sometimes it feels too... generic.
