So... was it supposed to be scary?
The game is fun, well programmed and the graphics are good but the point of Fear serie is mixing horror and action which they did well in the last two games but failled in this one. I don't know if they wanted to make it to be more action than actually scary but to me it seems like the only connection between the name Fear and the game is the name of the team from FEAR 1, First Encounter Assault Recon not actually making a link between the name and the actual fear felt by the players like in F1 and F2.

Another thing that I think this game failed was it's size, it was too small I actually spent more time in Fear 2, which was also small, than Fear 3 even with the character unlocking system that let's you playing with Fettel while in single player which is a good idea but what about the shortcuts? You play with Fettel and shortcuts remains the same as pointman? I mean at the first stage when the floor breaks under your feets playing with fettel u automatically becomes pointman in shortcut, I think they could have at least made new shortcuts (I know they cost time and money but you didn't actually see many shortcuts in this game.)
Well I liked the game, even with it's problems it is a fun and well made game and worth to be played.
