Not as scary as the others in the series, but still great.

I have been a fan of the F.E.A.R. series since the first one released. The main thing I loved about F.E.A.R. was the horror elements. F.3.A.R. is not really scary at all, but is still an amazing shooter that should be played by anyone who has played the other games in the past.
The combat on the game is some of the best in the series. When walking there is no longer that awkward camera bobbing where it feels like you are not able to walk straight. The camera bobbing is still there, but it feels so smooth now. The weapons are just as powerful as they have always been in the series and they feel right. The controls are also improved compared to the previous games in the series.
The story of F.3.A.R. is the character Point Man (the character you played on the first game and also play on here) is trying to get to Alma who is now pregnant and is going to try to kill Alma before the baby is born. In order to accomplish this Point Man joins up with Paxton Fettal and fight their way to Alma. In the process they have to fight the memories of their past and destroy them. The game is not that long and can be completed within 6 to 8 hours, but the ending does not disappoint.
Overall if you are a fan of the previous games in the series you will most likely enjoy this game. Yes, the scares are not really there, but all that is made up with better combat that is fluid and easy to learn and a story that is very immersive. This game will not disappoint.
