OK, so we all know the adams family, but this game makes them seem like strangers. Nothing relates.

So first off, let me introduce to you my unbiased opinion. Why do I say it is so? Because I really like the adams family, and I wish they had made more games, but undoubtedly this was a bad one.

Why do I say that? Easy. First of all, the story is ridiculous. The adams family has never been captured and never in need of help. On that note, fester shouldn't be the main character. If anyone it should be one of the kids rescuing their parents, or even the parents rescuing the kids. The whole thought of the adams family in peril sounds redundant to me, as they are quite the frightening sort of people, which I seem to admire.

On top of that, the gameplay is unrealistic. I know no family could exist with a hand, a frankenstein, and a dug-up brother/uncle. But really, the enemies would never appear in a show, and heck the adams family would embrace them if they did. The whole plot about a dead guy saving his family is quite absurd, and the gameplay doesn't help.

Say what you all will, but this game is absolutely worthless. Sure, the music wasn't bad, the graphics were OK, but the gameplay is what really makes a game good, because gameplay is what a game is based on. Garphics, music, even plot line don't count if the gameplay is good. But this gameplay was awful. Collecting little treasures and fighting little bats and whatnot, is not a great sounding game. To me, this game was easy, childish, weird in every sense, and I felt virtually no satisfaction at the end. No replay value, no real dialogue except for the ending... how can anyone enjoy this? I'm a diehard fan of the adams family, but believe me, this game died hard.
