PSP's Advanced Wars... but definitly not a bad thing
Yet, it is funny how most people get angry and say that it is a total rip off when 90% of all games are rip-offs. And most of the time no one gets it right the first time around (except GTA). So when some rips off an idea then makes it better, it challenges the original game to evolve or fade away in gamer memory.
The great thing about this game is it not a childish looking TBS with insulting story line of a make believe land called Cosmo. Its perfect for on the go or in the back of a Eng. II class , that you've taken twice because of lack of attention span. Solid story line backed by believable characters lets you take the game seriously but not so much as to dress your dog and cat up and force them to reinact the final battle with Patriarch ( I swear I never did that ).
But Alas, the Ugly. once you get a hang of this game it becomes easy, due to the fact of AI that makes G. Bush look like a Rocket scientist. But thats my only grievance.
I suggest that if you own a PSP add Field Commander to your collection this game is thus far the best game on the PSP and will be for some time in my book.
