It's good, for a FIFA game.
But, over some months my interest in American football also heightened my interest in real football, and so once I played this version of FIFA at a friends house, I had to have it for myself.
Currently I'm half way through a season, and in total I've played around 30-40 games, and so far it's going very good, in the manager mode.
I've found the game to be enjoyable, though without it's letdowns.
My main peeves with the game are only a few usually down to how the defending side will play, which is sometimes quite unlike a real football team. Take, for example, the fact that a midfielder will take the ball, and then run half way across the pitch, towards his own goal, and turn sharply, and rarely pass even though my player is chasing closely.
Or, how when my goalkeeper takes a goalkick, it'll head towards my player, but a player from the opposition will always be in front of me. Or when the opposition goalkeeper takes a goalkick, it'll nearly always end up at one of my players feet.
It's a good game, true, though not the best football game ever, as a review quote states on the cover, but a good one. The manager mode is great, if a little slow to load each page on the PS2.
