The gameplay in past FIFA games has always lacked the control and reality that its nearest competitor, Pro Evolution Soccer has managed to produce. FIFA 06 has taken a big step to improve this and it plays a lot better than its predecessors. Unfortunately though, it is yet to reach the standard of its rival.
The availability of so many real teams, players and stadiums is the major selling point for this game. The gameplay has improved massively but not enough, yet the new additions and vast amount of extras make it a joy to play
