Will give winning eleven a run for it's money.
The graphics and audio are crisp. Graphically even on the PS2 the characters and stadiums look almost indentical to their real life counter parts.Unfortunatley due to the graphical upgrade I found while playing this game it froze several times when many players appear on the screen at once. Audio is great with a great sondtrack spanning several different cultures and backgrounds. All of these help to liven up the feel of the game and better the experience when playing.
Gameplay wise FIFA 06 has improved on the already solid gameplay of 05 by adding several dummy, feint and dribbling and tackling techniques and the added feature to change team mentality on the fly is just excellent especially when stacked with the fast and fluid movement of players across the field. Physics though not winning eleven standards are quite realistic they're really starting to get the perfect weight of the ball.
Now what this game does best at is giving you a full featured games which offers more than jus a great core game and nice indepth maneger mode it also has vido clips, interviews and great unlockable which make you play the game even longer so you can get them. The retro feature is also fun and a nice touch so that players can play the 94 version and really understand the revoultion this games has taken to reach this far. Along with highlights of famous leagues you get the full bang for your buck for any soccer fan plus noone has better player stats, bios and overall support than FIFA.
What really brought this game down was the lackluster online features which really spoilt the whole great experience still this is a great game and recommend to any sports fan period.
