Alot better than '06

I have just finished my first season on the nea new Fifa 07 and im am rather impressed, the new ball Mechanics are incredible, the ball actually goes where you tell it too and bounces well specially in wet weather. The night games have a darker feel to them as they should have and the lights create a slight glow off the pitch just like they should, the graphics and player models have been improved but only slightly as EA seem to have consontrated on gameplay for the PS2 version this year which is good, the new shot mechanics are very good, you need to make an opening in order to score but if you try that fabled long shot with a good striker and have your shot aimed and timed right the result ends in a superb goal, the kind of goal that was near impossible in previous Fifa games. The goal keeper mechanics are alot better now with loads of different save combinations and now have to stand up rather than just pop up like before. The menus are done really well as is the new manager mode, the growth system works really well and you can see major improvement in youth player that are played often or the deminish of older star as they fall out of prime which gives you a better idea of which stars you should sell to make money before they fall to low and which stars arn't going to have a dramatic fall off and can be kept untill retirement, with all this and the added team of the month and international call ups makes Fifa 07 a well rounded game much better than its Predecessor. It is easy to pick up and play on amature level even for someone who has never played a Fifa game and offers more demanding gameplay for Fifa pros, a highly recomended game for any soccer fan!
