MY PLAYER MODE IS BROKEN. Let me start off by saying I'm new to playing FIFA for an extended time. I always wanted to like the my player but it required you to do too much random and abstract things to level up your player. This installment is more of a grind to level up your player which makes sense and is a pleasant change. That being said, the AI in this game is so mind numbingly bad. If you have the ball, even as a striker, your AI teammates run about half a step in front of you calling for the ball. If you try and sprint or make any kind of forward progress quickly or even touch the sprint trigger. Your teammates will run straight toward you and even run into you and knock you both over or simply run past you and kick the ball at a defender sideways. It makes scoring such a pain or even gaining free space difficult. They don't run to open space or put themselves in a helpful spot, they simply run into your area and bring all kinds of defenders and nonsense. It's a pretty game with lots of cool concepts. If you want to play as the full team its probably even really fun. But for someone who only wants to play my player the game isn't even worth a 4.
