A really annoying game.
There's such a limited amount of ways to get your team to perform better or worse, such as tactics/line-up/player skill/Atmosphere/Moral/Confidence & Trust and yet somehow, with some pretty decent players, and playing the game on very easy mode, i struggle to win more than 50% of the games and have no idea where i'm going wrong when seemingly, everything should be going great. So what i really dislike about this game, in comparison to something like Football Manager is the lack of feedback and understanding you get as to why your team isn't playing as well as it should be. Are my tactics bad? is it the formation? i know for sure it isn't the team's confidence/moral/atmosphere etc, and i know some games can go randomly wrong but when you're not winning 50% of games with a team like Manchester United when your're fielding the best team you have, and you're losing to bad teams like Sunderland and then inexplicably beating teams like Arsenal/Liverpool and Chelsea in the Community Shield...you get annoyed.
So far i'm 5th in the league which isn't too bad, but cutting it close to failing to qualify for European League and i just scraped through the 3rd round of the league cup and i've stopped the game before my make or break match against Fiorentina in the Champions League.
This game would be a hell of a lot better and less annoying if there was some system of feedback so i could understand what's going wrong, and looking at game stats like possession and shots on goal are completely misleading, because they make me believe i'm dominating the game and then lose 3-0 to Stoke City...
What's worse is, many parts of management can be given to other staff to control such as choosing the lineup and tactics, and these staff have abilities of 90+ and still nothing changes.
argh. very annoying game.
I'll stick to Football Manager....at least then i can lose a game and learn from it...
