FIFA 09 is without doubt a great soccer sim, but there are still some points which are annoying.
The game is introducing new features to be familiarized with and new things to do. The most interesting, which also affects the gameplay, is the use of the mouse. With the left button of the mouse you can now dodge powerful shots and you can pass with the right button. But I don't think it is a good idea at all, while there is aproblem with the movement when using the mouse(personally it reminds me of FPS games).
There are enhancements in online mode, too. You can play Be-a-pro online, while you can purchase some upgrades for the best leagues, but there is no point in doing that.
The gameplay is actually the same, though more realistic than ever. The goalie is far from easy to be beaten, while the referee is more likely to show a card. And the cutscenes are very well detailed, so you can have a clear view of what happened.
The visuals of the game are a real masterpiece. Unlike the previous game's graphics which were dissapointing, the new game offers a high detailed experience which will relieve the fanatics of the series. The sounjdtrack of the game is also a satisfactory.
FIFA 09 is a game that should be played from every fan of soccer, while I'm glad that there is, finally, antagonism between FIFA and PES, because this is why these games are both tuning to perfection, year after year.
