It's an good game and the best in the series because of the improved graphics and other improvements.
I couldn't really find so many cons of the game except for the bugs, of course, some problems with the difficulties, but I could find one big thing that should have been fixed a long time ago, injuries at the Tournament Mode. In every FIFA game in the series one big thing has annoyed me and that is that when an player gets injured in Tournament mode, no matter what, you can still play with him at the next game as if the injury didn't occur. They should do the same as they do in Manager Mode, date all the games and then when a injury happens, they tell which date he'll recover and there you go! I hope that they fix that problem someday.
Now we'll talk about the improvements. The graphics has really been fantastic in this game and the same for the realism. I really liked the profile which contains information of how much you have won, lost or played draw in or which is your biggest win or loss and in which time do you often do goals and so on. That was an feature that I really liked but there's another one that also, as many other features do in this game, makes this game special and the best in series and that's the Adidas Live Season. Adidas Live Season let's you choose one league in which you'll receive updates on rosters in every club in that league! That is fantastic and really useful although what would be better is to release updates on all the rosters but that can be very difficult but maybe someday.
Despite everything I've said about FIFA Soccer 09, that it is fantastic and incredible, it still doesn't get a perfect score or even over 8.0. You maybe wonder why and I'll tell you. It's because it's a soccer game and not anything else. You can't really give an game an perfect score just because of the graphics and so on, because it's just an soccer game. It doesn't have an story, it doesn't contain any excitements like in an good book or movie, it's just an game in which you start on your computer and play. It's fun, but it's not a "real" game if you can put it that way. Think about it and you'll realize that it's true.
