Awesome gameplay, disappointing content
let's start with the manager mode: the new player development and transfer system is well managed, but in the beginning it frightened me a bit. It seemed they had broken the mode in several completely different sectors, leaving me confused and lost. it eventually turns out to be well thought and very close to reality.
virtual pro is just useless: the fact that you can't create as many players as you want and make them as good as you want is devastating for any pes fan. well i'm not a pes fan and i'm still bored with that. just like the old fifa09. but when you take it to play online, your virtual pro may give you some amusement. may...
well and then there's the "good" old multiplayer mode. well, fifa 09 had maybe the best multiplayer features in any football game. remember pes 2009? you couldn't play an online match for five minutes and your ps3 would be just s*itting herself litterally(explosions were heard during the process) because of konami's s*itty servers. well that's about the same thing with fifa 10: even if you have a good connection, which i have, you won't spend much time online. and the community is so imature and selfish you won't even appreciate it well.
now to techincal features: graphics are the worse since fifa 07. compared to pes 2010, they seem to be made on 2004. but you can't even compare the gameplay between both of course.
the animations, which i always thought were one of the bad characteristics of fifa 10's predecessors, are one of the biggest reasons you will play this game for more than 10 hours.
"and after 5 minutes of playing, god created glitches"
there are so many that you will get used to them. there are a few AI related glitches, but most of them are included in the game's modes.
well, i'll still play it because i love football/soccer and there's no better game for this season, but what gamespot and the media call it the best footbal game ever, is what it is not.
solve those problems and then you'll have a GREAT game.
