I've always liked PES and always will.....but FIFA has done something special this year
This year is no different but its no longer the game I used to hate. Its finally what a footy game should have always been like and what PES has been trying to achieve for so long but failed......slick, fast, fluid football. From the moment you kick off to the moment you score your first goal you are drawn into a new kind of football game and know this is what it should feel like.
Yes not much change has been done to the menu and be a pro matches wise but wow this game is different. Unfortunatly I hate the soundtrack and it bugs me everytime a Brazilian cha cha cha song is played but minus the fact you must listen to this browsin through menus, transfers (which is soooo good to use...and fun) you dont need to listen to it. But theyre are a few things, in my opinion, which stop it from being the perfect football game.
1. Refs are too strict and stupid - getting in the way of a ball 4 times in a match is ridiculous.
2. Shooting still doesnt feel personal and more computer controlled taking away some freedom.
3. The ball seems to like the post......yeah i know im kinda now being picky but if you buy a game you want it to be perfect
Even though PES does look good they have to have a miracle of a game to save them this year...i went into this year a PES player....seems like I might leave a FIFA, thanks for reading
