The slight tweaks make this game great.... but that's about it!

As a hardcore football(soccer) fan, I was quite jumpy to pick up the latest FIFA game. I must admit that even after playing the demo I was a bit confused at first because of the many similarities to FIFA 09. Sure enough, picking up the game the day after it's release I wasn't shocked to see that my theory had come true. By no means is this a bad game, just if you have played the past 2 FIFA games you won't be in for much new surprises other than kit and roster updates. The Santiago Bernabeu is a good idea to have been a free download, but if you are not the biggest Real Madrid fan it won't affect you at all if you skip on this. There are some improvements to the Manager Mode, but I really don't use this and furthermore couldn't really care for it The Live Season 2.0 and additional commentary is available, but at a Microsoft Points cost! Taking a fast free kick and having the referee run at you to give you a card is not enough of an update. Overall, I would say if you already have 09 to stick with that and just change the roster yourself unless you are a real die-hard football fan and absolutely need this game. To that I would even say try the demo first and make up your mind from that. Could have been a lot better that what is being advertised.
