Is this any better than FIFA Soccer 10?

User Rating: 4 | FIFA Soccer 11 DS
I probably wasn't the only one expecting FIFA Soccer 11. FIFA Soccer 10 was good, but it got to a point where it wasn't enough. I needed something better. I waited almost a year for this game to be released, and now, I think it simply wasn't worth the wait.
There are many things I could criticize about this game, but what upsets me the most is that almost nothing is changed. Sure there's a new game mode, but it's not interesting at all. As if that wasn't enough, my favorite league (Primera Division Mexicana) is not in the game! Why would they take it off if it has been there for at least four years? And that's not the only bad thing about this game.

Gameplay: The gameplay in the game is literally unchanged. The only new thing is a new mode where you start with a bad team and can buy new characters by buying packs of cards which are bought with points in the store. With that team you play tournaments and that's it. The other modes are unchanged. In wifi there's very little people. They took off the tournament mode, so now we have the new mode, manager mode, kick off, be a pro, penalties, training, and multiplayer. No mode is particularily satisfying.
The games are played exactly the same as in 2010 (and probably before that). It's a good gameplay, but there are some errors like stupid ai.
There are also the typicall unlockables like the giant flag or the classic team, but I didn't feel too compelled to get them.
5/10

Sound: The sound is recicled from previous games, except for the addition of new songs in the menus, which are EXTREMELY repetitive since they are just about three, and you'll be hearing them a lot. The commentary still sucks, and you can choose it in german or english.
4/10

Graphics: The graphics are unchanged from 2010. The menus however, are estetically nicer, and now every player has the flag of his country on the side of his picture.
7/10

Story: Being a football game, it is unlikely to have a story. However, the manager mode in the consoles version has a story, so why not this?

Concept: The game is almost an exact copy of the last game.

Replay Value: There IS a lot of replay value. You have wifi connection and 3 different modes where you can have a team. However the new mode feels worthless, ad be a pro is boring, so you'll probably play manager mode the most. And manager mode isn't that good... so you're likely to get bored fast.

Difficulty: In world class, it seemed a little hard at first. I drew my first 2 games with Torquay United in the 4th english division. I almost lost the first one. Then I started wining by lots of goals.
Now I'm not saying the game is too easy, but it is considerably easy, even when I gotta admit I have practice since I've been playing this since 2008.
The training in manager mode was kinda hard though.
6/10

Fun: I had no fun when playing this game. I really tried to, but after 5 games, I realized the game is a waste of time and money, since it doesn't offer anything new.
3/10

Conclusion: Please don't buy this for the sake of those who want a good portable FIFA game. The game does't offer anything new. EA really did bad this time.
