Fifa on psp? an ok game at best.
Now call me spoilt but straight away when I played my first ever match on it, I was very underwhelmed by the graphics. They don't showcase what other Psp games can, at all. The player faces are not accurate, textures are low, body shapes are weirdly short, and there isn't really much match atmosphere.
However I do commend EA for putting be a goalkeeper in this version because I think that normally, Psp owners have to wait a year to see features that were implemented in other console versions the year before. It works quite well too, because you use the analogue nub to control your keepers dives and there is a guide which shows you where the team might shoot. Its just a shame the A.I isnt very competitive even on the highest difficulty level so most of the time your just doing, well... nothing really.
You also have Career mode which is basically manager mode. There's be a pro, and all the regular cup tournaments you would expect. One I thing I absolutely hate though is that there is no online, only adhoc, but I doubt many people I know have this on Psp, so adhoc is out of the question too (Hense. why I have only played this game for 10 hours).
Anyway a new feature though is trivia questions, which is a game mode where the game asks you questions on your club you picked at the start of the game. Then you can buy boots, balls and stadiums in the store with points earned from asking questions correctly.
Although I have said many bad things, there is still a fun football game to enjoy here, and the soundtrack is as catchy as any other fifa game after it gets ingrained in your brain, just don't pay full price for It and possibly don't buy it if you got Fifa 10 for Psp, because they both most likely have the same gameplay.
I would have given this a 7 if it had online.
