FNR3 is all in all a nice boxing game for PS2. Where is Michael Buffer? If the game had him announcing, would be sweet.

Graphics = very nice for PS2, huge step up from FNR2

Sound = sound effects are nice (boxers yelling when throw haymakers.etc). The music is the typical hiphop, that most EA games use. This game needs Michael Buffer doing the ring introductions. Also needs 2 commentators carrying on a convo about the fight, instead of 1guy.

Control = I would not reccomend using the "total punch control", clumsy design imo. Use "config 3" and youll be going undefeated in no time.

Gameplay = Nice all around, the new corner healing is fun, they shouldve added "q-tips up the nose" though lol. The training is still fun I guess. Where the gameplay really shines though, is in the ring. The counters, haymakers, combos, fouls, taunting and bobbing/weaving are well executed.

Good sequel, anyone that played the previous fight nights should give it a try. Knocking people out is alot more dramatic( slow motion, boxer yelling, crunching hits ) Also, had the first person view happen once in a fight, fun :)
