Fun but challenging follow up to Round 3
Counter punching counter punching counter punching. Come on and chant this with me. Round 4 is all about counter punching. You can knock your opponent out with good counter punch as well as decrease his health and stamina. You have to play to your boxer's strength, if you have a lomger reach, try fighting from the outside so your opponent cannot reach you as well. If you have a power player like Mike Tyson, it will be easier to go in on the inside and scrap it up. Bob, weave, and parry so you can get more counter punches. In Legacy Mode (like career mode) you schedule your own fights and training throughout the months, with simulated fights in between. Before going into Legacy mode training, I highly suggest you master the training from the opening menu. You can play the same training games as in Legacy as much as you want, so use this to your advantage because they can be VERY difficult and VERY frustrating. You also need to maximize your benefits from the training, so if you suck at the training games you stats will decrease extremely slow while your ooponents gradually out match you in every aspect. When fighting in Legacy mode, you no longer fix up the bruises and cuts youself, instead you use points accumulated during the match from accurate punches making it through the round, stunning or knocking down the opponent, etc. to refill you stamina, health or block. Don't spam punches in a match or you will be quickly countered and knocked out. You will also drain your stamina in seconds and have to let it regenerate. In other words you have to fight smart, use the jab, and keep working him like we talked about! (Fight Night Round 3 reference). I realize this wasn't a short review but more like an endurance round but hopefully this review gives you some insight into what Round 4 is like. So, in closing, rent it first because you may not like the difficulty and emphasis on counter punching.
