A very impressive game for it's time. To this day, the graphics are still quite impressive even for something so old. The character cast is rather thin but the main characters are easily lovable and developed. The main story is rather hard to follow but if you pay attention, it is easy enough to grasp a hold of. Character creation is not bad for it's time and each tribe has its specific pros and cons which the player can flesh out further through the item and artifact system. Character development is rather innovative in rather than leveling you must obtain items in order to enhance your character. There are even items specialized for tribes and gender. While it takes a while to get a grasp of the boundaries of combat, once you do it is rather simple to undertake combat. The game is full of beautiful environments, memorable music, and a few mini games here and there. Multiplayer isn't really feasible anymore and was quite problematic at the time of release. Still the game is an overall enjoyable experience, one that you will enjoy throughout and likely come back for more.
