I am a massive Final Fantasy fan, I have all the game released on PS1 and 2 and their respective soundtracks. This game, I thought we be a welcome addition to that collection...I was wrong. As far as graphics go there is absoloutly nothing wrong with, they are infact the best part of the game, the only thing I am alittle disapointed grpahicly, is the lack of FMV scenes, which was a very welcome and integral part of Final Fantasy games. The way the game sounds is also good, although the music is not quite as good as previous games released on the Playstation 1 and 2, it seems to be ok. As for gameplay...its good, if you like to constantly press the same button over and over with no actual thinking needed, one thing I love about Final Fantasy games is their individualism, the way they play and "feel" is just so much different that any other RPG game I can think of, this game stripped of its FF name is average, there is nothing at all about it that sticks out in terms of gameplay. There is no actual storyline to speak of, nor is there any in depth character development. I have only played this game single player so far, and I really can't see me playing it multiplayer, as I will be too embarrassed to show anybody I know how poor this game is, looks like this will be collecting dust on my shelf for a long time to come. *sigh* Go back to making them on the Sony consoles....you seem to do a better job.
