If your ready for a new twist in the Final Fantasy series, I highly suggest you Crystal Chronicles.

This game doesn't have the original "kill about fifty monsters and level up" gameplay of the last Final Fantasy games. The artifact system works just fine in its place, however, so I never missed it. You can repeat levels to get artifacts, even if the myrrh isn't there, to get artifacts, making your character stronger. The game could use a bit more customization, armor can never change its look, there are four outfits for each races gender, etc. Weapons look fantastic, but every class only gets one type of weapon, but can use the various designs all the same. All in all, I think it's a great game, and suggest actio/rpg lovers to try it out.
