More fun than it has a right to be

When i got this game, I was expecting it to be like all the arcade re-releases going around, fun then but not so fun now. However, RPGs are generally great and Final Fantasy is the top of the line so i figured i should get it. It is surprising how wrong i was, while not innovative (which would be impossible) It has so many of the elements that most RPGs today feel obligated to include, and it does them better. I have actually found myself casting status spells, my theif ising a wimp just because he is a theif, and the magic is well balanced across classes. There isint a seemingly endless list of weapons and armor and you can just tell it to give your guy the best outfit and it will instantly This game has lost none of its quality over time and rivals almost every current RPG, charm equal to Fire Emblem and quality like golden sun. GET IT NOW SO THEYLL PUT MORE OLD GAMES LIKE THIS ON GAMEBOY **I may have only played FF1 of it but it alone deserves the score i game
