For any old-school FF fan, this is a must-have. This is also good for anyone looking for a good RPG.

User Rating: 8.9 | Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls GBA
Gameplay- This is mostly as any other RPG. Nothing much has been done to change these two games, exept that in FF1, there are four randomly ganerated dungeons. In FF2, there is a mode where you can see where all of the characters who die meet up and go through a mirror mode of the last level. I should say that in FF2, leveling up is not the usual fare. Your stats will go up, but not by experience points. Instead, your weapons level will go up the more you use it, your HP will rise the more HP you lose, etc. Most of the bosses are quite easy in FF1, but in FF2, some of the random monsters can easily kill you. The random battles in this game can happen quite frequently, like one step after another.
Audio-The music in this game is absolutely perfect. Even with the dated synth, the scores in this game are completely memorable. I just love listening to the sound test in this game!!!!!!!!!
Graphics- The garphics look dated, even the animated cutscenes. But this is to expect, especially since it is a remake. The powerful spells look quite rewarding, though.
Value- Because this is 2 games in 1, obviously this gets some extra value. Each game takes about 10 -15 hours, which is quite long for a GBA game. The extra dungeons and modes will also take a wihle to level up and complete.
Tilt (Story)- For FF1, all you're doing is lighting 4 crystals to save the world, so it isn't very deep. However, FF2's story is much better. You're trying to save the world from an evil emperor. Throughout the story, there is death, which switches things up a bit, but it isn't as big of an impact as it should be. Also, the lost brother, Leon, is easily identifiable early in the game by looking at his picture when he talks.
