FF I & II dawn of soul is pretty good port of original FF series.

FF I & II Dawn of Soul ( from now, DOS ) is another GBA game of Square Enix. they remake their old game for several times, throughout various console, and DOS is no exception. Though DOS remaking the game that already remade in Final Fantasy Origin, So what is different? well, lets see. Graphic is one of strong point of this game, graphic is very colorful, its just makes you happy to see the bright tone that game brings in graphic. Though its is quiet dissapointing especially when you just hang around in the town and world map, that the character is just so small, it makes player's eyes to get tired. I wouldnt say its the best graphic game for GBA, but it is pretty good for the GBA game. Sound is also pretty good. You are manage to hear the long running Uematsu's FF theme song, and makes you very exciting (if you played any previous FF series that is) even before the game starts. In game music is also remake of what they made before, so if you did play original (if you are that old) you might feel 'the old days'. Over all sound is pretty satisfactory Value of this game is thank god, it is pretty good, and the strong point of this game. Since is RPG, play time is long enough, but it is combination of two RPGs, so it makes the game even longer. And there is things you cant experience in first time aroung, expecially in FF 1 that you only able to choose 4 character jobs in several jobs that exist in game, so its great to try out the best combination of parties, what this game makes different with FFO is that it has extra after you beat the game. Its not really long, but it is good enough for FFO players to play this game. Gameplay is one of I think is most dissapointing part of the game. It is very dated game, for sure, it can't cover the 'done that' feeing. If you really did played any of FF series before FF VII, you will probably get dissapointed, since the game is really the old days of FF I ~ VI. nothing to new, so if you are type of people who finds the new type of game play, its is definitely not the game for you. Overall, if you can handle the old time FF series again, then this game will be the good game to purchase, if you are not, then don't buy it.
