An amazing port to the GBA!

User Rating: 9.8 | Final Fantasy IV Advance GBA
If you're a Final Fantasy fan, there's a good chance you've played the SNES game Final Fantasy IV, or another "old school" (FF1-6) Final Fantasy game. If so, this game is exactly the same style: Turn based RPG fighting with amazing characters and an amazing storyline.

Final Fantasy gives you a wide variety of classes to play with, as throughout the game you will gain, lose, and regain different people to your party, including an old magician, a young child with the skill in summoning and other magic, a beautiful white mage (healer), and a Dragoon. These are only a few of the amazing characters that you will come to love while playing the game.

Battles take place randomly, meaning you walk around and a fight will initiate after a short time. The only time you do not get attacked is inside a town, certain safe spots, or when traveling in a vehicle. Some battles are very tough, especially the boss fights, while others can be as easy as one hit. After battling, you gain experience, items, and gold. Leveling up is easy, but vital if you wish to survive later on in the game.

Final Fantasy is an extremely good, classical game that still holds true to this day. The only thing negative I found about this game was the very small graphics when comparing to the SNES version, but the game was so well ported that you cannot tell it was original made for a bigger screen.

Final Fantasy IV has a lengthy and fun storyline, and you will never get bored as you travel the lands with your companions. If you've already played FFIV, I still recommend having this, as you can take FF with you, anywhere you go! With the cheap price of GBA games, you really have no excuse not to get this!

Highly recommended for everyone interested in an old school, but very well made, RPG game.
