They've taken the original which was an instant classic and put it on the Gameboy Advance. A game for all to enjoy!

Story: The story is pretty good. It is a basic Knight fighting against an oppressive dark figure. However Square Enix has tried to add new twists to it by adding betrayal, and invaders. The story is about a young man named Cecil who is a Dark Knight. The Dark Knights are knights who shed thier emotions, who strive to lose themselves to the darkness and blood lust needed to fofil thier missions; to conquer every foe. Cecil becomes aware that he will never be able to love the ones he cares about, and that he will eventually lose himself which conflict with what he believes in. His adoptive brother Kain has chosen the path of the Dragoon, knights who prefer the lance. These knights fly high in the sky and trample thier foes under thier mighty spears. One of the truly original and first dragoons, he really sets the bar for the later ones that are shown in Final Fantasy games. The story is an epic one as Cecil is sent to retreive a crystal from a neighboring country when he mercilessly mows down the innocent. His conciences conflicts with his duty, and the path of being a Dark Knight. Eventually he will rise from the darkness and make war with the people manipulating this new found wave of evil. His quest will lead him down a path of self awareness, where he will meet children with extraodinary powers, mythological creatures, and the demons of his past.

Graphics: The graphics are very well done for a Gameboy Advance game. They are updated from the original graphics. There are not any real graphical glitches to be found. Sound: The music in this game is extremely well done. At times it makes you feel very emotion over the loss of some one. At times it builds a hightened sense of suspense over what will happen next. It truly has one of the better sound tracks, and helps lift the game up off of it's few small problems. As an added bonus this game comes with the feature of playing the game music if you beat the game that is. That alone makes this game a original sound track. Replay Value: There is not much replayablity. There are not very many extra's in this game, and I would only replay it for the sake of fun. To see the story unfold again. Some new extra's include a bestiary which you can kill all the creates to complete it. Final Note: This is a very well done remake. It has a great story, great music, and even greater characterization. One major complaint is the glitches in the battle system. I've noticed when you get to the later areas that the battle system glitches. It will allow some people to perform actions when thier ATB gauge has not filled. Towards the very end I have noticed they almost never fill up , most only fill to about half. All in all I would reccomend this game to any Final Fantasy fan just for the epic story.
