I bought this game solely to waste away my lunch hours at work. I had played Final Fantasy I & II : Dawn of Souls for the same reason and FFIV surpassed that game quickly. I never had the chance to enjoy this game on the SNES so I was coming into this with fresh eyes. The battle system took awhile for me to get used to but I felt comfortable with about 3 hours of play. The quicksave feature is handy but I would have liked to see an option to save during battles. Graphics were crisp and clean and text was extremely easy to read. Since I was playing this game in short 30 min to 1 hour sessions some of the story elements got forgotten and some of the sidequests were skipped. Still this is a solid RPG and great fun.
