Final Fantasy IX brings back many great elements from its predecessors, but it lacks some difficulty.
The graphics of this game, and seamless entrances into cut scenes continue to amaze me. The storyline is great too.
The only thing that disappointed me, is the difficulty of this game. I didn't find beating the game very hard at all. About three or four years ago, when i was new to RPG's, i beat FFIX with no problems. I never really got stuck in this game. Even though it's a little bit easy, and there aren't too many secrets to play around with, the battle system, graphics, and great story makes up for it. I love the little twists the story gives us with the characters. I don't wanna give any away in case some of you haven't played this already.
If this is your absolute first Final Fantasy game, it should take 30 to 60 minutes to get used to. If you're like me, and played quite a few RPG's, you'll get it right away.
As for value, I payed $25 Canadian for this package, and I'm happy with it. I highly recommend this game as it is a very highpoint in the series.
