Final Fantasy IX was the first game in the Final Fantasy series I ever played. The minute I picked it up, I could not put the game down. The addictive battle system, phenomenal graphics, and compelling story make it not only the best RPG in video game history, but the best RPG of all time.

The battle system in FFIX is simple, yet requires lots of thinking. The player must know the enemies weaknesses and use the proper spell. Many battles also require the use of regen, protect, or reflect.

The graphics in this game still punish the graphics on the PS2, Gamecube, XBOX, XBOX 360, PS3, and Wii. The movie scences are just plain amazing and cannot be outdone.
