The cute Final Fantasy.

This Final Fantasy is very different from the other two on the PSX, it has a very colour almost childrens story book look to it which only add to the experience of the game, this to world around you is best described as medieval era with steam powered airship. You play a thief called Zidane who the only one of his race (he looks like a human with a monkey tail) who is part of a group called Tantalus who plan to preform a play for the royale family of Alexandria then kidnap Princess Garnet, on the way the you pick up a small black mage friend called Vivi and Princess Garnet's lovable but useless bodyguard Steiner who hates Zidane for what he stands for. I found this game a more cutesy than the others but this pulls you in more, and it also has it's fair share of dark moments, it will also throw up back later on when the story unfolds it very odd but clever secret war.
This game is another triumph for Squaresoft and is a must have for any Final Fantasy, RPG, PSX or PS2 fan.
