Graphics: The graphics are still primitive, for instance, no backgrounds behind the enemies. However, the graphics are still improved over the first in the series. Characters are more detailed, and towns and dungeons are more detailed. The desert world for instance, is pretty cool, As is the giant world.
Music: I would also put the music in this above the orginial. There are many more themes for characters, and the boss fight music is much improved. The Sounds are almost alike, but since there are many more weapons and spells, their are alot more sounds than the orginial.
Gameplay: Walk around the world, find what is wrong, fix it. Get the Magi, move to the next world. Fight monsters. Get strong weapons. Make sure you buy MULTIPLE weapons however, becasue you only get a certain amount of uses per weapon. for example the GLASS sword has......ONE FREAKIN use!!!! Also, the last boss is beatable without it, but if you can't find the SEVEN sword in the last dungeon before the boss, you could have a tough time.
Fun: This is a fun game. The story is well done, not too trite like the orginal. There are many different charatcer formations you can use to attempt to win the game, so there is replay value.
Overall: Good game. ONe of the best RPG's for the orginal game boy. If uoi can find it, pick it up.
