My first Final Fantasy game. Nearly ruined the series for me.
So why did I like it before? I don't know for sure. Probably something to do with the way it was made. Squaresoft used this game as a cheap half hearted FF game for the U.S of A. It stunk of being a half hearted attempt but could have been something great if the effort had been placed into it. I think that was the reason. It could have gone far if it hadn't run out of gas on the first lap. After I put the controller down. I didn't pick it back up on another FF game until FF VII years later.
The good:
Nothing good. Just a bunch of almost goods.
The bad:
everything else.
I don't hate this game. I just can't avoid the scoring system.
