Final Fantasy Tactics is one of the best strategy RPGs ever made. It has the killer combo of great graphics, storyline, battling system, and tilt to make any RPG lover remember why they fell in love with the genre in the first place.

The greatest part about the game is its complex job system. Through this system you have the ability to gain nearly all the games skills for any human character you want. These skills give you the ability to steal others items, cast unbelievable spells, cause unimaginable damage as well as have enemies join your party.

Equally great is the storyline, you follow your main character through trials and tribulations that form him/her into a man/woman through different chapters, each chapter seeing some maturity in the characters picture. The story is about the zodiac stones which when brought together have the ability to unleash terrible things, not to mention the demons that the stones can release themselves. The main character and the band of people that join the cause fight monster and man alike uncovering the secret of these stones and the roll that they play in the upcoming war.

One highlight of FFT is the ability to choose how long you play the game. Either you can rush through the game without doing the side quests of the deep dungeon and going straight to the end in as little as 30 hours or less if you are familiar with the game or you have the option to literally play the game as long as you want and stay entertained. As many as 100 hours or more on one session isn't out of the question.

With the ability to play for extended amounts of time comes the one down fall which is the fact that non random occurring battles do not include enemies up to par with the parties level. This fact can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for in an RPG. By battling and leveling up tremendously before advancing through the storyline you can create a party that are seemingly invincible. Another big problem with the game along these same lines is losing a character. If one of the parties main players turn to dust the party takes huge blows that are not easily recovered.

Final Fantasy Tactics combines many great elements of game play that makes me smile just remembering the days when I last played it. If you are looking for an entertaining and captivating epic video game FFT is the game for you.
