A decade-old classic which just gets better.

Even after almost 10 years, this game still rocks! It just shows that Final Fantasy is an evergreen or it may be that the squad-based tactical gameplay is still a hot genre among gamers. Also, the new cell-shaded CG movies are responsible for making the revamp a hit with impressive sound and visual treatment.

After a decade, your heroes finally learn some new tricks, namely being the cool Dark Knight and the odd Onion Knight. Since the gameplay and story remains the same throughout, so for those fans who may find replaying this oldie a chore just to watch the CG movies perhaps, the Dark Knight saves the day for us. One of the most interesting aspects of this game is the training of the characters to reach a certain level to unlock new jobs, and so far all of the jobs are pretty much easy to attain as time goes by, even the bard or dancer. So this dark knight is a tribute to fans where by the time you are able to unlock it, you may be almost done with the story quests to not find it a drag! Not to mention that it's extremely powerful to not miss it. For bonus unique characters, you are able to unlock Balthier from FF XII, who adds some fun with his special job commands.

Another great add-on feature is the extra subquests including multiplayer quests and the awesome Midlight's Deep for high level characters. But be warned though. This game sucked away 85 hours of my social life with it. Enjoy.
